  • Promoting positive ideas on Haitian culture, art & heritage

  • Changing perceptions, building legacies

Build a Community

We come together to build a cultural and historical awareness of Haiti.

Give a Hand-Up

We come together as a community to give a hand-up to locals in disadvantaged areas through mentorship & workshops.

Growth & Prosperity

We believe that to have a strong community, members should have access to resources, information and an opportunity to develop their skills both formally and informally.

ABOUT HAITIAN HERITAGE

Our Vision

To positively change the common perceptions of Haiti and promote the beauty of its culture & history while highlighting its influence globally.

“History is the fruit of power, but power itself is never so transparent that its analysis becomes superfluous. The ultimate mark of power may be its invisibility; the ultimate challenge, the exposition of its roots.” – Michel-Rolph Trouillot

Building Legacies for Youth

Our Events

We’ve developed several events around specific historical dates whose purpose is to educate, inform and entertain.

Our Youth Projects

We serve young adults and children living in disadvantaged areas in the U.K by developing projects that aim to improve their soft skills, literacy & numeracy competencies.

Our Scholarship Project

HHG will work with UK-based academics, Organisations and universities to campaign for Haitian studies programs and support for Haitian students’ access to UK universities.

Our Events

Our activities offer an opportunity for teachers and educators the space to use their skills and reach young people at the edge of social interactions or on the verge of being excluded. We do this through Games, Dance, Music, Poetry , Art, Food & Raffles.
